If you have visited Morocco before but feel like you have barely scratched the surface of what this incredible country has to offer then why not head off on a fabulous two-week "Grand Tour" of southern Morocco. This particular journey includes travelling across the High Atlas Mountains at the Tichka Pass, visiting kasbahs and towns in the south such as Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, then through the impressive scenery of the Draa Valley to Zagora and the Sahara - and that's just for the first week. Following a fabulous night under the stars in the desert your journey continues on its second week to take you even further "Off the Beaten Track". Driving through the deep south of the country, passing through the small towns of Foum Zguid, Tata & Akka, skirting the southern edge of the Anti Atlas Mountains, your goal is to visit the undiscovered coastline between Sidi Ifni and Tiznit.
This really is an awe-inspiring journey which begins in easy-to-reach Marrakech and takes in so much of the lesser-explored southern region of Morocco.

Important Information
We can easily arrange for this holiday to finish in Marrakech or equally to start and finish in Agadir - for the latter we would suggest reversing the itinerary.
City Tours include an English-speaking guide, all transport and entry fees to historic monuments; followed by an exploration of the souks and focal points of the medina.
Flights available to book with us through a range of airlines, from various UK airports either out to Marrakech and home from Agadir or vice versa. Travelling to/from the same airport in Morocco would usually mean adding an extra night at the departure location. If we book your flights this means that your holiday will also be fully ATOL protected.
Prices shown are a guideline "from" (in UK Pounds) and are based on a travelling party of at least 2 adults. Single supplements may need to be applied to the twin/double price and discounts for children (under 12yrs) and/or a 3rd adult sharing a room are available upon request. Quoted prices for individual enquiries will depend upon your chosen accommodation, room availability and dates of travel. We always aim to match a high quality experience with exceptional value for money. Discounts will apply if there are 3 or more people in your travelling party as fixed costs such as transportation and guides will be shared equally between the group.

Itinerary
Day 1 - arrival into Marrakech and private transfer directly to your chosen riad or hotel.
Day 2 - a full day in Marrakech - a private half day guided tour of Marrakech's main historic sights, including the souks and the Djemma el Fna is included. Plenty of additional sightseeing & optional activities, e.g. a cookery class, quad biking in the Palmeraie.
Take delivery of your hire car at your riad. Head south across High Atlas Mountains via the stunning Tichka Pass, possible detours en route to Ouarzazate include visits to the Kasbahs of Telouet & Ait Ben Haddou. You have a good choice of different locations for your overnight stay.
Day 4 - some time to explore the Ouarzazate area, including the Skoura Oasis and various kasbahs. Then continue south via the incredible views of the Tizi n'Tinififft down the Draa Valley to Agdz.
Day 5 - a choice of routes and locations on this day, you could head to Zagora and beyond with a possible visit to a desert camp or stay in a small hotel in Zagora itself; alternatively you may like to drive a little way along the great southern road to N'Kob to visit the oasis or do some walking near Jbel Saghro.
Day 6 - drive west via Tazenacht to the outpost town Foum Zguid for a night in the dunes of Erg Ch'Gagga or a stop at the fabulous Bab Rimal Hotel.
Day 7 - return from your desert camp in the dunes of Ch'Gagga and rejoin the road to drive along the fringes of the Anti Atlas Mountains to Tata for a stopover. Time to explore the area.
Day 8 - continue your journey to the Atlantic coast and visit Goulemine en route to the unusual old Spanish town of Sidi Ifni. Stay in Sidi ifni or a little further up the coast at Mirleft.
Two full days at a choice of locations on the undiscovered coast of southern Morocco (e.g. Mirleft, Sidi Ifni). Explore the region, relax on the beach, do some activities such as paragliding.
Head north up the quiet coastline and into the foothills of the Anti Atlas Mountains, spend a night in Tiznit or you may wish to explore the Anti Atlas Mountains and stay in Tafraoute.
Day 12 - time to explore Anti Atlas, such as a hike to the painted rocks. Onward drive down to the Souss valley with possible detour to the ancient walled city of Taroudannt prior to arrival into Agadir.
Days 13 & 14 - relax in the resort of Agadir; you could elect to keep your hire car and travel around the region visiting Taroudannt, Imouzzer, even Essaouira or choose a day trip or activity to occupy your free day(s).
