With its altitude of around 900 meters and proximity to the sea, Njeguši is a real “Air Spa” where two climates converge, a place untouched by industry. Njeguši is known as the birthplace of the Petrović dynasty that ruled Montenegro from 1696. to 1918. Lovćen is the most famous mountain in Montenegro - the two peaks stand out in height: the Štirovnik (1749m) and the Jezerski Vrh (1657). On the Jezerski Vrh there is a mausoleum of the famous Montenegrin ruler and poet Petar II (Petrović  Njegoš).

The complex extends to 13,000 square meters with an artificial lake, a summer stage, a children’s playground and a wine cellar. The capacity of the complex is 15 standard bungalows, two deluxe apartments and a restaurant. There is direct access to walking trails and cycle paths; from the village you can visit Lovćen, Njegoš’s mausoleum, the old capital of Cetinje and Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor). The beautiful nature all around is a paradise for all those who enjoy excursions, hiking, walks and activities at sea and in the mountains.

Accommodation: There are 15 standard apartments of high category; accommodation capacity of each apartment is 4-5 persons; all apartments have free parking with video surveillance and night care, free WiFi, room service, hotel laundry, air conditioning, TV, hair dryer (baby cot and high chair available upon request). Breakfast available at a small supplement. There are also two Deluxe apartments (4-5 persons), includes free bottle of wine, a fruit basket, drinks, water.

Facilities: a restaurant with a variety of local specialties, primarily Njeguški prosciutto and cheese, you can enjoy the best home-made food;  other local products are kaštradina, dried sheep meat, sausages are also appreciated, but don’t overstep the glory of prosciutto. Also you can find many meals that are prepared by traditional method of baking under the “sač or peka” - it’s yours to come and indulge yourself with the charm of local cuisine.

Njeguši as a place is famous already for air-dried prosciutto; there are dryers in all the villages and hamlets. Whether you come to Veli Kraj, Dugi Do, Erakovići, Mali Zalaz, Jaićevići or the Vrh Polje, you will find many households where the well-known prosciutto dries in an old fashion. Cheese from Njeguši is produced primarily from sheep’s milk (can also be cow or mixed sheep, cow and goat). Kačamak is a dense, strong dish that is prepared from wheat, buckwheat, barley or corn flour and served with cheese and sour milk.

  • Lovćen Tour - Lovćen is one of the national parks of Montenegro, known not only for natural but also for cultural and historical characteristics. At the very top of Lovćen, there is a mausoleum in which Petar II Petrović Njegoš is buried. From the top there is a fabulous view of Boka Kotorska Bay and Skadar Lake. In addition, architectural relics are also famous Lovćen serpentines. The old road is from old town Kotor to Njeguši, a picturesque mountain village, where the birth house of Petar Petrović Njegoš is also located.

Ostrog Monastery belongs to the most visited monasteries in Europe, and the believers of all religions of the world come to it. His beauty and position leave him breathless.
