Horizon Beach Hotel lies just 400m west of Plakias village centre. The hotel is right by the sea and enjoys far reaching views over the bay. The beach below the hotel is Blue Flag certified; the beach has umbrellas and sunbeds for hire (local charge - this is operated by a third party, not by the hotel).

Plakias is a good base for walking to enjoy nature at its finest.

Accommodation

The hotel is light and airy and its 26 rooms are a mixture of twin and double bedrooms, all of which have a private sea facing balcony and polished stone floors. They are comfortably but simply furnished and have their own shower room (or bathroom). Some rooms can accommodate a third bed for a child. In addition there is a family room for 4 persons with two balconies, and sea view - this can be connected to another double room via the balcony which can then be used as an apartment for 6 persons. There are also some studios available. All rooms have wifi.

Facilities

Breakfast can be enjoyed inside or outdoors on the patio and, if you don't fancy straying too far in the evening, meals are offered at the hotel taverna. The hotel has a lift and free parking.
