Badiu's Guesthouse

About Badiu's Guesthouse

This beautiful rustic house was initially built in the mid 19th century and is situated in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. The property has been renovated but the character and some of the original architectural details have been carefully preserved. The inside is decorated in a traditional country style with clean lines and natural materials.

Most of the ingredients for the authentic cuisine of Mrs Badiu are carefully grown and picked fresh from the gardens and local farms (they are also hormone and pesticide free). The sauces and preserves are made in house from scratch from the family’s traditional and authentic recipes. In the summer meals will be served in the lush and tranquil garden or outdoor patio and if you visit in winter, the spacious dining room with natural wood burning fireplace will enchant you with its rustic warm ambiance.
