The run-up to Christmas is a magical time in Lapland. Santa is getting ready for his mammoth journey across the world, the elves are busy making all the presents. What better time to pay him a visit with your Christmas wishes for the year?
Staying in Jeris Lakeside Resort you can guarantee that Santa’s reindeer and the elves are not far away.
The highlight of this holiday will be meeting the great man himself. During your stay you'll go out into the forest searching by snowmobile for Santa. Eyes peeled, as you look out for elves on the way. As you get closer you can see moving lanterns as the elves sneak up through the forest and greet you on your sleigh. They know the secret path to Santa’s cabin and will guide your family along the lantern-lit path straight to his door. As your children knock on his door will they wake him up from his little nap around the fire?
Departure Airports: London Heathrow with Finnair via Helsinki. Manchester also possible but the flight schedule would involve an overnight stay in Helsinki on the return journey.

*Santa Gift Service: bring with you your children’s letter to Santa along with a small gift from their wish list (maximum value €20) and they will be waiting in the cabin. Imagine your child’s eyes light up when they realise that not only has Santa received their letter but he already has one gift from their wish list ready for them!

Itinerary
After breakfast you'll head off to a local reindeer farm to meet the reindeer. You will have a chance to feed them, learn how to throw a lasso and experience a short reindeer ride. Lunch will be served in the ice restaurant*.
This afternoon you'll visit the husky farm where you will have a guided tour and meet some of the adorable husky pups! Learn a little about the dogs before enjoying an exhilarating dog sled ride. This evening enjoy a Christmas dinner before retiring to your hotel room or cabin
*Lunch in the ice restaurant is weather dependent. Should the ice restaurant not be ready lunch will be served around the fire in a traditional kota.
After breakfast you'll head out on a 20km snowmobile safari, with two adults sharing a snowmobile and children sitting in a sled pulled by a local guide.
After a short break for your included lunch you'll bake Finnish cookies. The afternoon continues with snow fun. Try your hand at snowshoeing, cross country skiing or zooming down the toboggan slope (you are never too old to toboggan!). Children will also have a chance to drive their own mini snowmobile (under supervision). Then the highlight of the trip as you are whisked off into the forest by snowmobile sled in search of Santa's secret hideout. Dinner and overnight in your hotel room or cabin.
