Leaving Marrakech by car at around 9am your tour begins by heading south towards the Berber mountain village of Ijoukak. After a refreshing cup of tea in a roadside cafe depart for an easy 3 hour hike with one of our English-speaking licensed mountain guides - he will take you up and down the charming contours of the High Atlas valley slopes, passing Berber hamlets, streams, orchards and ancient terraced, irrigated fields until you reach the small, remote stronghold settlement and now-famous mosque of Tin-Mal.
After a guided tour of this historical site, your guide will prepare a picnic lunch (included) by its ochre-red walls, afterwards returning to Marrakech by 5pm.
