About Muonio
Muonio is a stunningly beautiful area of Lapland, nestled among the fells of western lapland and at the edge of Finland’s most popular National Park, Pallas-Yllästunturi.
Situated far above the Arctic Circle, the municipality has the longest snow season in the whole of Finland, it’s a real winter wonderland. Whether you are driving a team of huskies, on a leisurely reindeer sleigh ride or looking for Santa, it’s a place that will stay long in your memory.
