Golf Links House is a family-run guest house and award winning restaurant situated a ten minute walk from the centre of the picturesque seaside town of Newcastle. The friendly family which runs Golf Links has been doing so since 1977 and the premises has recently been awarded ‘Excellent Accommodation Experience’ at the Northern Ireland Tourism Awards.
The property overlooks the world-renowned Royal County Down golf course, which has played host to Tiger Woods, Bill Clinton, Michael Douglas and Jack Nicklaus, to name but a few. It's a great base for walking in the unspoilt Mourne Mountains and is close to the Murlough Nature Reserve, a stunning dune landscape.
The comfortable rooms are en suite and are a mixture of singles, doubles, a triple and a few family rooms.
The popular restaurant here has finished runner up in the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ category and has received a ‘Taste of Ulster’ accreditation.
