About Hotel Savoy

The Hotel Savoy is located in the centre of Opatija, just above the sea and the famous promenade "Lungomare". Back in 1910 when Opatija was a famous destination for Austro-Hungarian and Italian aristocracy the Hotel Savoy was one of the popular luxury hotels. After the Second World War the hotel operated under a new name "Dubrovnik" and was classified as a cultural heritage monument. Under the supervision of its new owners, the Brko family, the hotel was completely renovated in July 2004 and given back its original name and splendour. Nowadays the Savoy is a luxury hotel and is open all year round.

Accommodation

The Savoy offers 22 luxury rooms. All rooms have air-conditioning, minibar, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone and safety deposit box. These comprise: single rooms with balcony and sea view; standard double or twin rooms (some with balcony); standard or superior double rooms, both types have balcony and sea view (superior rooms have a seating area and are larger); Resident Suite, on the top floor of the hotel, which has a balcony with spectacular sea views overlooking Kvarner bay. There is a large living room with two sofas and a Jacuzzi in the bathroom.

Facilities

Hotel Savoy also has a swimming pool with sunbathing terrace, wellness, restaurant, aperitiv bar with a terrace, meeting room, hairdresser and parking. Close to the hotel there are cafe bars, wine shop, jewellery shop, pastry shop, boutiques, casino and a disco. Hotel also owns a new private beach.

Restaurant - an outside wing of the Lungomare restaurant with a terrace offering a spectacular view over the Kvarner Bay. You can choose between the rich choice of menus based on local specialties.

The beach offers deck chair rental and umbrellas, a small swimming pool for children, WC and showers.

Wellness centre: guests can use all the benefits of the wellness center. Beside the swimming pool and Finnish sauna, the centre offers a variety of massages as well as a wide range of treatments.
