The Kasbah Itran overlooks the Dades Valley near Kelaa M'Gouna. Located between the Atlas and the Sahara, Kasbah Itran is like a balcony overlooking the life of Berber people in the Dades Valley. Kasbah Itran was built using traditional materials - earth, water and straw to form adobe blocks. These blocks are used to make the thick walls; the roofs are made of bamboo stems intertwined with cedar logs.
The Itran has 10 rooms with bathroom including 3 rooms for up to 5 people, ideal for a family or group of friends. From the private terrace you enjoy spectacular views over the valley. All rooms have air conditioning and a wood stove to feel comfortable during the coldest months of the year as well as hot water showers. Since 2010 there have been solar panels providing hot water to the Kasbah.
A traditional Berber stove, a clay oven, can be found in the kitchen which gives the perfect finish to the most delicious Berber dishes. Meals are served in cosy rooms and, if the weather is pleasant, you can dine on any one of the terraces overlooking the fertile valley of the M'Goun river.
The Kasbah has wifi access and a large parking area.
