About Agia Galini
Agia Galini is a fomer fishing village on Crete's south coast - it makes a good base from which to explore nearby archaeological sites and villages.
The great attraction here is that the village is almost completely pedestrianised - narrow, steep streets lead up from the pretty harbour so it's a great resort in which to unwind. The resort has a good choice of restaurants, tavernas and shops as well as a sandy/shingle beach. Sunbeds and parasols are available.
