Pension Casa Domneasca is a small guest house in Curtea de Arges, surrounded by a lush garden and ideal for stopovers en route to/from the Transfagarasan Highway.
Curtea de Arges is a municipality in Arges County, Muntenia, in the intracoline depression of the upper basin of the Arges River, at an altitude of 450m, and is surrounded by the hills and southern ridges of the Fagaras Mountains.
Pension Casa Domneasca was built in 2007 on a small hill, just 150m from the main square in front of the Royal Church and across the road from the Royal Ruins of San Nicoara. It has been designed and is managed to offer a welcome described as restful, intimate and warm with a feeling as if you are in a real house.
The Casa Domneasca has 12 rooms, with a capacity of 24 persons (6x double rooms, 4x twin rooms, 1 studio & 1 apartment), all with private bathroom. The rooms are decorated in a classic style, with solid wood furniture, rooms have minibar, telephone, LCD TV, air conditioning and wireless internet connection. From the balcony of each room you can admire the Royal Court and the Royal Church (17th century), the ruins of San Nicoara Church (14th century - the first Catholic church in Tara Romaneasca), a panorama of Curtea de Arges and the Fagaras Mountains.
Free wifi. The restaurant of Casa Domneasca offers a wide range of special dishes both from traditional Romanian cuisine and international cuisine. You can also relax on the terrace of the pension, an oasis of tranquility surrounded by the scent of flowers in the pond and the trill of the birds. The indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, hydromassage cabin and fitness room are available every day between 8 am and 10 pm. Massage can also be provided upon request. Free private parking is available on site.
