About Europa Royale Hotel

The four star Europa Royale Bucharest hotel is located in the very heart of Old Historical Center of Bucharest. The Hotel is within walking distance to most historical and cultural attractions as well as shopping streets and downtown entertainment facilities. The hotel is housed in a 19th century building overlooking Unirii Square, next to "Hanul lui Manuc" restaurant and has become an elegant four star hotel.

This hotel is available as part of any tailor made holiday with Rediscover the World.

Location: the hotel is located on Franceza Street, another Old Town street blessed with restaurants, cafes, bars. Str. Lipscani, which is very close to the hotel, gets its name from the large number of traders who, in the 18th century, sold wares here brought from Leipzig, which at the time was one of the largest trading posts in Europe. As Str. Lipscani was the main commercial street in the Old Town, it over time lent its name to the whole area.

Accommodation: Europa Royale has 92 tastefully decorated, fully air-conditioned guestrooms, and offer all facilities for a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in the heart of medieval Bucharest. Some of the 4th floor rooms have a spectacular view of the Unirii Square round and of the "Hanul lui Manuc". All hotel rooms are air-conditioned and offer complimentary Wi-Fi. "We really enjoyed Bucharest and visited most of the museums. The Natural History museum is one of the finest in the world. The recreated Romanian Village at Herestrau Lake is truly interesting to see. It is in a lovely setting alongside a lake and is very relaxing to just walk around and look at the buildings depicting the old ways of life. There is a nice restaurant within the park to sit and relax and have a nice lunch. Taxis are inexpensive in Bucharest. We discovered that they post their prices on the passenger side door. They run between 1.39 lei per km to 3.50 lei per km. We didn't notice this at first and wondered why some cab rides were more than twice the cost of others for the same ride...... Europa Royale is perfectly situated on the edge of the Old Town, which is really lively every evening with outdoor cafes. I would stay there again on a visit to Bucharest."
