The Kasbah Tizzarouine is a great choice for a base or the odd night passing through the area. Ideally located for the Dades Gorge and only 30 minutes from Tineghir it can also be used for those wishing to visit the Todra Gorge. The sign directing you off the road at the top of Boumalne points out into the desert, don't be put off though, as you wind your way along the makeshift driveway the Kasbah's entrance soon comes into view.

Stunning views across the Dades valley from most parts of the hotel, sit back and enjoy the scenery of the lush river valley, deserted kasbahs and hillside villages.

Accommodation

All 38 rooms and 12 suites have been inspired by the most remarkable periods of Moroccan art. From Berber style to modern art, five centuries of history are represented there. All are en suite with wifi, safe, TVs, tea/coffee courtesy tray on arrival, minibar, telephone, hairdryer.

Standard rooms are colourful and well designed, in shades of red or yellow. These rooms have either double or twin beds and views of the inner courtyard or valley.

Cave rooms are unique and typical of this area! These are obviously ground floor as well with valley view and can be either double or twin.

Berber Suites are elegant and colourful; the suites are in a small pavilion and face the interior garden. They have a small seating area. The Family Suite has two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, a large dressing room, and a lounge area.

Facilities

Full reception service, restaurant serving quality local cuisine - half board can be lunch or dinner (please specify each day). Swimming pool, local guides for walking trips in Dades Valley. A continental breakfast with fresh bread is served each morning by the pool, or in the dining room. For other meals, guests are invited to sample traditional Moroccan dishes on the terrace. Other relaxation activities offered at the hotel include hammam and massage treatments. Guests can also relax on the sunloungers by the pool, or relax in the living room equipped with TV and free wifi access.
