About Les Tourmalines
Les Tourmalines is located out of town but in an incredible position above the man-made lake created by the Mansour Edhabi Dam. This is certainly one of the most stylish of the smaller hotels and retreats in southern Morocco. The effect of sitting by the well-designed infinity pool and looking out over the unbroken view across the lake is magical. A relaxed atmosphere prevails. Ideal for those with car hire as property is on edge of town.
This hotel is available as part of any tailor made holiday with Rediscover the World.
Accommodation: 13 bedrooms (7 twin and 5 double) with en suite bathroom (shower) and private terrace or balcony. All rooms have a/c, heating, hairdryer and free wi-fi and views of the garden or pool.
Facilities: restaurant*, good sized 'infinity' swimming pool (with children's pool beside), Moroccan lounge, bar, TV lounge, pool bar, great views of lake, historic kasbahs beyond and the mountains. Horse-riding can be arranged locally through the owners, using the nearby stables.
A continental breakfast is offered by Les Tourmalines on the terrace facing the lake. The restaurant serves Moroccan and French specialities and guests can also enjoy a drink from the hotel’s bar. Guests can relax afterwards in the reading room or beside the fireplace in the guest lounge.
"It was a great trip you put on for us to Morocco, our driver Aminn was an absolute gem, first class guy. A great trip."

"Special mention for our final stay in Marrakech (not enough room on the form!!) at Riad Kniza. We have never stayed anywhere that we have been more welcome. Truly felt like our home and the staff were WONDERFUL! Genuinely sorry to leave and will definitely be back, Location excellent, service and food exemplary, and very good value for money. A little haven in the lunacy of this amazing city. Also Kasbah Ellouze - stunning location and brilliant staff. Felt very authentic. Landscape is dramatic and hugely photogenic. Desert trip amazing - we had the camp to ourselves so it felt very personal. Would have perhaps liked to stay an extra night as the dunes are quite breathtaking. Organisation completely hassle-free. Car hire (and Neureddine, the rep) very helpful. Driving pretty much without hitch apart from one bandit incident down south (we had a heads up from your info, so managed to avoid!!) Roads excellent, especially over the Atlas. A really fantastic trip, thank you"
