The hotel building is a historical monument dating from 1912 and was renovated to its current 4* classification in 2007.

The Continental Forum Hotel has 127 rooms (standard and deluxe) and 8 suites on the first three floors and a presidential suite located on the fourth floor, the top floor of the hotel, the most spacious hotel apartment in Sibiu (over 180 square metres).

Four star facilities standards will ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay in a stylish setting; the rooms have an elegant design with shades of blue (100 standard rooms and 27 deluxe rooms). The apartments are of different types, three of them are standard, four deluxe and one presidential suite. Guests can choose a room equipped with either a shower or a bathtub; accessible rooms are available too. If you are travelling with children then the family room is a great option - a bedroom with double bed alongside a lounge with a sofa bed (recommended for families of two adults and two children under 12 years old). All rooms have air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, bathrobes, hair dryer, desk and, on demand, an iron and ironing board.

The Balkan Bistro Sibiu restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants in Sibiu. The menu includes delicious original dishes from the main cuisines of the Balkans, such as Greece, Bulgaria or Romania. The restaurant is also the setting for an excellent Swedish buffet breakfast.

The Lobby Bar is another popular spot, serving drinks & cocktails, coffee, teas and selected wines.

Next door to the hotel is the “Tekaffe” which offers, of course, tea and coffee (a large selection of both), you can also choose from a wide range of delicious pastries, muffins, croissants and scones.
