About Casa Elvira Guest House
The Guest House Casa Elvira is owned and run by the Baies family from Vama village. Meals are genuine Bucovinian recipes with organic ingredients, many of them from their own micro-farm; local delicacies include: trout, mushrooms, syrups, sweets and jams from wild forest fruits; alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks. Vama village is situated right at the crossroads between the Trans-carpathian main road from Suceava to Cluj Napoca (E576) and the historical road to the holy Monastery Vatra Moldoviţei.
Ideally located for exploration of the the painted monasteries; only 15 km from Vatra Moldoviţei, 20 km from the holy Monastery of Voroneţ, 25 km from Humor Monastery and 25 km from the Rarau mountain. All seasons here have something to offer - Bucovinian winter has rich snows, spring with its wonderful Holy Easter (more wonderful than any place in Romania), summer is full of flowers, fruits and surprises in the high country of Bucovina's forests and the long autumn is full of sun and harvest.
This hotel is available as part of any tailor made holiday with Rediscover the World.
