About Hotel More
This hotel is definitely our local manager’s favourite and has been popular with our clients, too. A high quality hotel with excellent service and a stunning bayfront location, surrounded by woodland, although only a short 5 minute walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Opened in 2007, the Hotel More is a luxury hotel located on the Babin-Kuk peninsular overlooking the bay of Lapad.
The hotel boasts views of calming green pines and of Mediterranean vegetation abundant with colours and scents, of the glaring azure sea, of rocky cliffs and memorable sunsets.
Accommodation: Hotel More offers 40 luxuriously equipped modern rooms and 7 suites each decorated in natural tones creating a relaxing environment. The majority of rooms have stunning sea views with furnished balcony; each room has SAT TV, mini bar, safe-deposit box, telephone, wi-fi, air-conditioning while the marble bathrooms are fitted with state-of-the-art hydro massage baths or showers and hair dryer. There is also a mobile phone in each room allowing guest to contact reception and make other local calls at no charge.
Facilities: Open plan a la carte restaurant serving traditional Mediterranean and international cuisine with a beautiful panoramic terrace and glass panels into the state-of-the-art Molteni kitchen allowing diners to watch the chefs at work. Café bar Taraca and Cave Bar More are the ideal spots for refreshment, offering a wide range of highly selected beverages. Private beach reached by a number of steps; a heated swimming pool (May to October). On the "beach" level the hotel has converted a sea cave into a fantastic bar !
Natural cave: the cave under the hotel was found during the construction of Hotel More. It can be reached by elevator in the hotel or by stairs through the tunnel. In the unique setting of the Cave Bar that extends over three levels, guests can enjoy the beauty of a natural cave.
The sunbathing area of Hotel More is situated right beneath the hotel. This is an ideal place where you can enjoy the sea and sun, with a beautiful view of the green, century-old pine trees and cypresses, the crystal-clear sea, compelling cliffs and the Elaphite Islands.
Wellness and Spa: Wellness centre on the third floor of the hotel features the Wellness & Beauty Illumina, while on the fourth floor there is a Fitness room where you can enjoy special workouts, and a variety of treatments including aromatherapy and chromatherpay.
"Relax in the exclusive Katharsys thermal cabin, unique in its concept, providing you the pleasures of classical steam and a Roman bath, enhanced by aroma and chromo therapy. The combination of temperature and humidity creates an excellent anti-stress ambiance, by activating the healing properties of natural thermal mud through bio-climatic changes, giving life to this revolutionary method of mud application. Treat yourself in your own special fashion in our wellness atmosphere, and be sure to enjoy the benefits of our Hydro tub. Our Hydro tub is an ideal complement to the thermal treatments created by heat and steam. To dive in its foamy little bubbles means to coddle every fibre of your body, to reactivate the natural circulation of the body fluids, and to quickly feel regenerated. The action derived from the combination of heat, water and air makes the Hydro tub a potential concentration of therapeutic properties. "

"The location of Hotel More at Dubrovnik was stunning and facilities top class. Highly recommended for future trips since public bus enabled cheap and frequent trips to Old Town. Great swims in Sea off their Cave Bar."

"The Hotel More where we stayed was elegant. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful calm sea. Our final dinner was at the hotel and it was a fine way to end the trip."

"Just a quick note to say thank you so much for organising such a fantastic honeymoon. It really was the best holiday either of us have ever had. I’d originally attempted to put together the itinerary ourselves and it wasn’t until we went away that we realised how much your knowledge of the area and attention to detail (you’d literally thought of everything) helped to make it the relaxing stress-free holiday it was and one that we’ll always remember. To top it off it was great value for money too. We could never have done it ourselves, so thank you!"

"I just wanted to say we had a brilliant holiday and all the hotels and itinerary worked really well, it was a really enjoyable break and I would highly recommend it. Many thanks."

"We both enjoyed the experience, the Travel arrangements and Transfers were excellent. Very good drivers and the Hotels were all good apart from the 24 Hour Building work going on outside our bedroom window at the Hotel More. But a great holiday of Exploration overall. Have added your Website to our favorites for other possible Holidays. [note from Rediscover] - building work went over their allowed timetable in 2016 but was halted for the peak season. Work will continue and finish in the winter of 2016/17 ready for the summer as a whole."

"Arrangements were superb - no problems at all. Had a great time & loved the country! If we were to repeat the holiday one less day in Bol and an extra day in Mali Ston would be better. Hotel Ostrea and Mali Ston are an absolute delight! Top marks for Miric Inn, Plitvice too. Very friendly & welcoming and HUGE dinners! Dubrovnik old town was heaving with tourists, so staying some distance away at Hotel More was perfect. Easy to get to old town by bus so distance was no problem. Hotel Palace in Zagreb was good as was Mediteran in Zadar Thanks for the recommendations - they were spot on!!"

"The other hotels: Hotel Monika at Trogir was good with very helpful staff. Villa Nora at Hvar was very good as well and well placed. Hotel Ostrea at Mali Ston was less satisfactory. We were put up in their annexe, on the ground floor and the room was damp, attracting mosquitos. We were moved up to the first floor after complaining. Reception here was off hand. Hotel More outside Dubrovnik was very comfortable, and good service. The bus into town was easy. In hindsight we would have preferred to have had three nights in Hvar and two in Trogir as the beaches were much more attractive around Hvar."
